Yea I agree, although I am not for this idea at this particular moment. I came from ffxi and I noticed that the players in ffxi are much more mature than players of guild wars. I think it has a lot to do with teens without credit cards.

Are you guys always this stubborn in your life? Geez, it's only a freakin game! There was a reason why no monthly fee for this game. Do you really think Ncsoft wants to see its stock drop due to drop sales of Guild Wars because they initiated a monthly fee? I see more and new players in Guild Wars everyday.

Here's a little example of the complete retardation I see in this game:

He doesn't buy my silk. There are two things wrong with this guy. First of all I happen to be a guy, I play a female char because a.) I would rather look at a girl's ass for 3-4 hours rather than a guy's, and b.) it is a well known fact that female characters are treated better in MMORPGs and I have seen first hand sexually fustrated geeks give items to female character's, hoping in thier mind that it really is a girl in front of the monitor and maybe they can get some hawt cyb0r. Another point to make is what if I really was a girl, I would consider this to be sexual harassament WITHOUT A DOUBT.

I have a great idea how to remove all of the dickholes from this game. Usually, the people who act immature also suck at the game. You will notice these same dumbasses complaining that the game is too hard and so on and so on. Here's a GREAT solution NCSoft can take to remove all of these guys from the game: just make the game damn harder. I personally find the game very easy, and I am only challenged by PvP. If the game was made nearly impossible to get through, not only would all of the immature little pricks be removed, but NCSoft would SAVE money on bandwith costs. It's not like they will loose money from all the quitters, they aren't charging per month, and sales won't drop either because most of the reviews rave about the game, and these greatly influence buyer descision.

I agree the game experience suffers with the poor play. But, I never would have purchased GW if it had a monthly fee. I have a good job and age 37.

I've had the pleasure to run with some absolutely great groups and the game experience was top notch. The "fear of the unknown" group can be as rewarding as it it disapponiting. But it's ok with me. That's how you fill your friends list!

And all those claims that the henches are terrible must be the same people that can't play with other people either! I've dome many mission/quests with the henches! While they do get a little silly at times they work as a team.

To all those that read this: If you (tendency is the Warrior class) run off in any direction that you fancy, drawing group upon group of aggros and don't understand concentrating the groups fire power...were talking about you!

My best friend, my little girl and I play all the time.
We have local, auction and emotes turned off intentionally.
I know how some of the fun stealing MMORPG locusts behave and expected it.
For all intents and purposes it is us 3 only in the game, when it is time to group the henchmen are there to help.
If I solo it is done with henchmen, no fuss no muss. I don't have to deal with immature people, L337ists or annoying fun locusts (those that behave to the point of causing grief to others).

No need to complain about them just turn em off, its amazing how quiet Guildwars is even in the biggest crowded zones. Let them have their silly dance parties or spam the local channel selling their pwner equipment, I can't see it :P

Other than declining the occasional group invite (we made a 3 person guild to stop the guild spam invites), it is a nice fun game that the 3 of us enjoy immensely.

You are my hero. I too play a female char for the same facts as you, and I have in FFXI, WoW, and all other MMO's I've ever played.

As for the stupid morons who play this game... their are quite a few of them. Wait, no, replace quite a few with more than 50%. But honestly, there's nothing that can be done to stop them. Making the game harder might just slow them down and whine and cry more.

I especially hate the morons who flood the trade chat constantly. It's to the point now where you can't even keep up with it. "omg, just filter it u stupid dik lol" That accomplishes alot when you're actually interested in possibly buying something, but how can that be done when every other line is, " WTB DRAGON SWORD MAX DAMAGE PLZ!!!11!1one!!1 "

Damn people and their excessive caps.

Whats the point of this thread? Is it about players who lack experience and make mistakes in a party? Is it about players who yell or beg? About trading? And whats your problem with it? Because I only see al lot of people having fun, each on their own way. What wrong with that?
I hear complaints about immature behaviour. Well than realize that... Games... are... for... Kids!!! And most games are ruined by the behaviour of grown ups who try to hack and cheat and make money on ebay. So climb down a bit, because its the grown ups who are the guests here...

As I aggree with some of the things in the previous posts, I would like to add that I have noticed many immature players are abound in this game. Now I am an extensive MMROPG veteran (been playing for that last 12 years or so) so I know what I am talking about. Created and ran Guilds in DAoC, WoW and AC2. There are many 10 - 12 year olds that are playing due to the no credit card idea, but as they play more and more and learn the way to play as a TEAM with other experienced players it will be to the benefit of the whole MMO gaming world!! I have seen my share of young players rushing up in the middle of a huge mob..thinking they are invincible..then to have them get really pissed off that they died and blame it all on you or someone else in the group. Only through playing will the inexperience young players (and old) will learn! But there social skills needs to be improved! So many are so immature when it comes to selling, buying and spaming the local and trade channels. Anyway, it will come with time.

So all and all I am willing to give everyone a chance.. no matter how young or old or experienced they are. My 10 year old daughter plays a warrior and has joined several groups that were more then willing to teach her the ropes and even though her typing skills are not up to par and quick, she was always well received by the group. I try to do the same to all who play with me.

Saying that, I find the constant chances to find groups the best part of this game. I never have to wait more then 5 minutes before I am off in an instance. No matter who I play with, it is loads of fun!!! And that is the major reason I play this game. I would even consider paying a monthly fee for something I enjoy so much.

Let's give everyone a chance!!!

I completly agree with Pandora's box. I'm 15 years old and I dont have the cash to dish out monthly fees. So finnnaaalllyyy they come out with a mmorpg with no online fee. Most of you say how other games like WoW and ffxi are have more mature people and less annoying/dumb ones, lol well those are games with wayyy less teenagers and kids. So now you can see how some of us like to play games. THIS IS A GAME, a game, game, game, game.Game = fun. I get a kik out of trying to play tricks or going up to random people and dancing next to them with my clothes off. I often make dumb mistakes and ask stupid questions. And YUP I also use all caps when I'm selling

If you guys filtered out every "stuped person" that plays this game, it would be a very dull, serious, and absolutely no fun type of game... at least in my opinion.

and just to let you know the guild wars community is MUCH better than most mmorpgs i've seen, and thats because of the guild wars team.

i just got done with WoW, and wow you have absolutely no idea how many retards there are in that game. go look at their forums, you would cry if you read even a little bit of it. WoW was rated the most immature community any game has ever released.

so dont even consider judging guild wars. and no matter what, guild wars WILL have somewhat of an immature community because of the fact that its a computer game, and the majority of people who play computer are games are kids. face the facts, if you want a mature community then go play online solitaire or something.
